A group puzzle inspired by Otto's "Buy that car".

16 close-ups of images from car ads or brochures. Most showing "you", the expected customer, but some showing the auto workers too, when the brand tought it was good policy to mention them.
The make and year of the corresponding car is asked. It may be not easy, but it will go better if you identifiy the cars in my second post.
As they are quite common cars mostly, I didn't make it too easy by showing front view, of course.

The rule is: 2 points for each match. No point for identifying just a car.
This puzzles stays a few days here to give the few rookies a chance, then it's a free for all.

Quick question: the model year of the vehicle corresponds to the model year of the vehicle advertisement, correct?

Of course. That would be too tough and less meaningful otherwise.

Don't be, it was a perfectly legitimate question. I should have made it clear.

car 4 is the Glas Goggomobil (Klein-) Transporter TL250 delivered to Deutsche Post (German Mail) which matches with ad/brochure 10 from 1957 I suppose. The standard brochure wasn't changed over the years, so, I guess it's from the first year of production.

I think I've deleted some of this puzzle's files by mistake, but until I get them back I have it almost all in mind.
The two images from the same brochure, dated 1956, and you are right.

EDIt: Found them.

Collar 16 and car 7 ( chevrolet beauville and chevrolet bel air )

Right make and match. The car in the ad is a Beauville alright. Car 7 is not a Bel Air but it doesn't matter since I didn't ask for ther model.
But I asked for the year. Locked for you 72 hours.

And Ehhxekt gets the 14 pairs left without a single error.
Where were the other pros gone?
He even warned me that the Studebaker pictured was a 1940 model, while the brochure where my photo came from was a 1941 brochure (a mistake I reproduced from the website where I took the picture.

The count goes: Ehhxekt 28 points, Allemano and Joao 2 points each.

Where were the other pros gone?

Personally, I had the Pontiac pair, and was working toward some others, but, per the "slow answers" thread, was out of commission for most of the past two weeks, with the exception of early morning admin work.

I'm back on a somewhat normal schedule now, and will try to do better. :-[

Sorry you've missed it.

It's true that finding the answers required some intuition, but mostly lots of time spent on the internet.
