I may be in the minority here, but I am real happy to see a fellow AutoPuzzler who likes classic rods and kustoms.  8)

Thanks Otto.  With rods and customs, however, I either really like them, or really dislike them.  I'm not sure where the above car falls.   :-\

Personally, I like a nice restro rod.  Something that still looks mostly original, but has updated features like disk brakes, air conditioning, modern suspension and tires, etc.

A '56 Thunderbird was the base for someone called Von Dwingelo to create this thing. I have the article about it scanned  :-X
