Who is he, and what car can he be associated with?
Art and cars. Painters, writers, musicians, actors, movie makers: in a nutshell, artists. Cars of special importance in their work, or in their life.

Rule is: you identify the artist, you have one week to find the car. After that, the hunt is opened and anyone can rob you of your point.
Thanks!

That looks like Al Jolson. If it's him, is it his 1933 Cadillac Phaeton V16 that you're after?

Dammit! I thought he would be really hard to rcognize on this photo!

It's not the Cadillac I was after but a make he was particularly fond of. But these movie stars have owned a lot of cars in their heyday, so I won't be too peculiar:
If you don't find it...  I'll settle for an image of Jolson with the car you like....

EDIT... or anything of the kind.

Sorry about that.   :(

Jolson also owned a 1928 Mercedes-Benz S Tourer and an Austin. On another note (no pun intended), he also sang "He'd Have To Get Out & Get Under (To Fix Up His Automobile)". Below are pictured Jolson's Cadillac, his Mercedes, and his Austin (which I suspect is the car your after)

Don't throw anymore cars at me, I have my fill.
The make I had in mind was the Brewster. Jolson is often noted as having owned Brewsters " Al Jolson was the most recognizable celebrity in New York City at the time, and was an avid automobile enthusiast and collector. Inskip offered Jolson one of the new cars and Jolson jumped at the chance. A black town car with red pin striping was especially built for Jolson with a white-piped red mohair interior that included a radio and a golf bag compartment."

But that picture with the Austin will do instead. You could also have found this: the factory-installed owner plate on his Cadillac.
