I've got this very pic in a book with: 'Bucciali 8-cylinder from 1930 with a totally open body'.  This isn't of much help...

The only other detail I have is that it probably had Continental engine... but this source seems to be not very reliable..

The Bucciali were:
3 Litre Ballot Special
BUC V2 and V4
AB4, AB5 and AB6 (Cime and Scap engined)
TAV4, 6, 8, 30, 12 & 16, respectively Scap (4-cyl 1700cc) Scap (8-2400), Continental (6-2400 , 6-4000, 8-5200 & 2x8-4000 ) and Voisin (12-cyl) engined. There was also a Mathis project in 46.

This one should be a TAV8.

This is the third body on the third Bucciali TAV chassis. The chassis was built in 1927, called "TAV 2 longue". It was renamed TAV 3 in 1928. The third body was fitted in 1929. The chassis was initially fitted with a CIME six-cylinder, soon to be replaced by a Continental six. By the time the third body was fitted, it already had a Continental eight. It received four more bodies by Bucciali. Nowadays it is part of the Blackhawk collection with a Saoutchik body originating from a Mercedes Typ S and mated to the Bucciali chassis in 1980.

Allemano's other picture shows the fifth body on this chassis, a 1930 Labourdette roadster.
