The wheels and the position of the steering wheel make me think that this is some special version of the Simca 1000. But I cannot find anything that would match >:(

You know, it's really weird how this one simply disappeared!

I don't think so. I don't know what it is, but I suddenly realized it was missing - I try to keep track of the unsolved puzzles.

While it may be Simca-based, I have no record of that. In fact, I have only a photo and a name.

It's a Steyr-Puch (Fiat) based Adria TS by German/Austrian designer Werner Hölbl.

Heck, I tried to check but there's a typo in the solution there. It's Höbl, not Hölbl, that is why I did not find it. Sorry, please do what is appropriate.

Here's the original of the picture, which was featured in a Hungarian magazine in 1964 though the cars were built in 1962.

Someone please merge this thread and find out whether he was Höbl or Hölbl. I've seen references to both :)

Werner Hölbl is the correct name. Recently was in email contact with him concerning his role on the Autobianchi Pio Manzu G.31project.
