Right, but can you be more precise than this "circa"? I'm holding this one for you 48 hours.

Well, the question didn't include needing the year, but since the license plate appears to read "1961", I'll stick with that. 

Besides, my minimal research shows that it only looked like that in '61.

The question didn't include it, but as American cars change yearly it didn't hurt to add it... especially when the author of the puzzle forgot to blur it on the picture.

We actually had a neighbor who bought one of those cars new.  We always called it the "mean car" because the front end looked so scary.
