Time for a clue: the body seems to be the work of a well-known coachbuilder, and the engine is heavily modified from standard production.

This is pure-guessing, is the coachbuilder Zagato? I know he was involved in many racer during those years as the Alfa Romeo, and if it's him, is that a Giusti?
