Maybe you find it under BMW name, but from 1966 all Glass cars had BMW badges...

Glas (with one s), named after Hans Glas, the founder of the factory, not after glass, the material  ;)

At the risk of sounding like a party-pooper, the correct answer to this one should be the BMW 1800 SA, as to the best of my knowledge this model was never sold or assembled in South Africa as a Glas.

From wiki (which isn't the best source, I know):

"The 1700 sedan was built and sold by a South African importer with several changes as BMW 1800 SA until 1974".

So it was indeed built and sold in SA, but the name is BMW 1800 SA indeed.

That's correct, even Frua's station wagon has BMW caps. Later this car got a more BMW-like facelift.

Nice photo.  The later (white) facelifted car was marketed as the BMW 2004, and was built from 1971 to 1974.

There were a 1804 SA and a 2004 SA. Furthermore the Glas book mentions a facelift was made first in 1973. BMW's 5 series replaced it already in 1974.

wasn't the name of the restyling BMW 2000 as opposed to 2004?
