It's a French Demoiselle 'voiture sans permis' from the late 1980s.

Correct, but the brand name is still missing.
Locked for you for the next 48 hours (or until your next answer)

Djetset

Ah, you didn't ask for that, but i will try to dig it out.

The brand name is IMO part of the identification  ;)

Fair point!  The car was made by Silaos. ::)

Yes, Automobiles Silaos was the company who made the car, but it was not the brand it was sold under.
Still yours.

Phew, you're a tough guy to please.  I'll take the 48hour option please, as I have a brochure on this at home, but I won't be home for a while, and everything I can find on the internet refers to it as a Silaos Demoiselle.  Hopefully the Demoiselle brochure will reveal all  :-\

I guess Project Plus S.A.R.L.is the information you're looking for, although this was the make, with the car being sold under the Silaos brand name by Joel Michell from Dieppe, who was an ex-Renault engineer who was largely responsiblefor the development of the wild Renault 5 Turbo.  A bit of a contrast to the Demoiselle hey!

Projet Plus (the french version of the word, not the English version as you wrote)  is indeed the name I was looking for.

According to my information, the car was sold as the Projet Plus Demoiselle and was made by Automobiles Silaos from Dieppe.

The point is yours.
