It looks like a Decauville, but I guess this is the German copy called Wartburg...

I have never heard about any other Wartburg except for that we all know.. And according to my sources this car is not German.

This is what I found on a site of the BMW history:
The first Wartburg cars had two cylinders engine 479cc with the air-cooling system which was providing only 3,5-5 horsepower

This puzzle makes me confused. In fact this car probably (and most likely) is an early Wartburg. However I have it under different make (which can be false :/) as a car that resembles Wartburg/Decauville.
I think I'll do the following: one point for DynaMike for finding the same picture with quite persuasive arguments. One point is still open for telling what else it could be (the name of the other make).

There was also an Italian licensed version built in Piacenza, with the rather French name Marchand.

There's no doubt it is the Decauville Voiturelle design, but as that was made under licence (as has been said) in Eisenach and Piacenza I quite expect there were other licenced producers. I cannot for the moment call any to mind . .

Neither Decauville, nor Dixi.
