This looks like the Frazer Nash one-off from 1950 that was just called the Cabriolet, but also referred to as the Fritz Fiedler Dream Car.

That's just what it is. I have a source dating it from september 1949 and saying it had been produced and more than a one off, but i don't have the production number and cannot confirm.

Apparently it had a 4-litre Bristol engine - and it still exists:

Apparently it had a 4-litre Bristol engine - and it still exists:
It does still exist but the capacity of the engine is declared as 1971 cc which is that of the standard Bristol. I have not heard of a 4 litre Bristol engine and if it did exist, what was it really? Frazer Nash did use the BMW 502 V-8 for some cars but that was 2580 cc in the form they used it and was only available later than 1949/50

The place to store the spare wheel looks very Bristol-ish.
Maybe they implanted this car a big Chrysler V8? :D
Well, I doubt that...

As some of you will know, I started a fresh puzzle today featuring this car, but I have deleted it. Here's my period photo of the car, taken by a visitor to the factory.
