If I'm not too much mistaken, I think Arunas has had a good look at the front of the car, where the badge seems to contain an S.

..This car looks too familiar for me.. Maybe because I have this pic in my archive, but can't find it: I've checked some possibilities ant etc.. You don't know the exact country ant it's a bit problematic..However, I am trying to make my memory work ;)

I'ts not an S.
I am sorry to know so little. The company's name, when googled, produces more hits in Switzerland than in Germany. It's not a proof, though.

I told Arunas he asked too many questions. This is what you see, no less, no more.
But I have good news: I found other infos about this car, and it definitely comes from Switzerland. The bad news is that I can only find it mentioned in ONE website.
So this will be a 2 point puzzle.

And Bingo!  ;D It's a Geissmann with 350cc engine built in 1943. The owner is René Saxer from Hägglingen Switzerland. The car is not related to any company because it is a self-build car.

That's it!
I had all the details you mention except the owner's name and that second pic, and I don't know where you found it.... Two well-deserved points.

The funny thing is that the car seems never to habve left Hägglingen, where both the Geissmann family still lives.

There is a quite similar Swiss microcar in one of my books. I've just searched whether it still exists and if yes where it is exhibited. The first search result gave me the adress of the museum and the second gave the essential link where LOTS of more microcar rarities can be found....among others the Geissmann

In their guestbook someone has written that she likes the "design" and the "structure" of Saxer's home page very much... ;D It's so puristic!

P.S.: at least one time the car has left Hägglingen in order to get exhibited on that microcar event.  ;)

P.P.S.: It helped me a lot to search in German for that Swiss Geissmann. Think it's much harder to find by googling in any other language.
