No idea, but only in the USofA would something as modern-looking as that with stonking great carburettors be a side-valve (albeit a six-cylinder) with a six-volt electrical system

Neilshouse found it!!!
I had a picture of that engine all the time in my books and I diodn't make the connection. I found it too elegant and modern to be an Italia (a car that is neither elegant neither modern to my eyes).
