Wow. I've never seen it from that angle before - but the side view really doesn't really do the design any favours, it's far too stretched. The other pics I've seen show it from an angle closer to the front, which disguises the length of the car, so I've never really understood why the styling has been described as 'ungainly'. Now, however...
