Suere is a dead ringer for a Zimmer Golden Spirit 4-Door Sedan. The bumpers, fenders, fender-mounted signals, etc., are a direct copy. The only diference I can readily see is the wheels.

Of course I see your point. It's more or less a copy - obviously it's the same idea, based on the same car. But this one has another name, and is manufactured by another company. It is also, reportedly, currently in production.

Obvious, too, is the fact that neither Zimmer nor the manufacturer of this car mentions the other car on their respective web pages. Why admit that it's the same car when all your customers care about is exclusivity?

Then again, Ford/Mercury/Lincoln, or for that matter Peugeot/Citroën, have never officially talked about their 'brand marketing' strategy of just putting another grille or badge on the same car, either. Instead, cars are marketed as purely Lincoln, purely Mercury, purely Citroën, although it's plain for all to see that the vehicles are the same. So it's nothing new that one 'marque' does not mention the other producing the same car..

Not a Clénet - but yes, that's also up the same alley. There have actually been quite a lot of manufacturers of neo-classic cars, although there are not too many that are still building cars. This one is quite obscure - I admit I hadn't heard of it just some months ago.

I was thinking Easer, but Easer is a Lincoln Limo with an Excalibur front end on it. They don't offer a 4 door.

This more or less confirms something that I'd already guessed: The reason why you haven't figured this one out yet is probably not because you can't think of the right manufacturer - it's because you've never heard of it. So no, it's not any of the mentioned manufacturers.

I like your answer, Paul - it also tells me that several of the neo-classics that I have lying around for later posting are just as obscure as I thought, as they are not among those that you listed...  ;D

Well, this is just less than a half of the list of neo-classics that I've stored in my database, but knowing your previous posts I think we are all going to face hard days...
