In my mind, you post an answer when you think you know the answer. If you decide to guess, then your guess is open for all to see, and everyone can join in after reading your guess. If you do indeed think this is an OSCA, then you should search until you find something that looks like it, and then make a suggestion. But that's just my opinion.

It's not just your opinion, @re. I totally agree, and I think this is common sense and should be the rule. I sometimes (and you did it also) held the point for a few days when a puzzler has given an ubcomplete answer, but when I thought he had done most of the work and not just a random guess. Anyway I think this should be an exception. The decision belongs to the author of the puzzle. In no way can a player ask for it.

With my brand new knowledge about O.S.C.A.s, Allemano, here is what I found about OSCA MT4, chassis N° 1154:

engine n. 1513 .1955 cyl. 1500 cm3, spider Morelli 24.5.1955 Racing Sport srl, Torino, for Michel Collange, ; Antoine Raffaelli (without engine),sold for 5000 FF to Christian and Norbert Michel with engine and gearbox of Facel Vega. sold without engine ,gearbox as a rolling chassis for 70 000 FF in 1988 to Amanda Covindasami,chassis without original engine and gearbox ,Restauration start 10 years ago by Dan Margulis (London) who close his shop .A other shop in England finish the job ,new Body with original inside tube structure with original gaz thank and radiator (we have photos and documentation) .Nov 2000,sold to a dealer in Paris .2002 Sold to England
