I think it's an MG TC bodied by Vignale.

I think that's quite close, but think it may have been an MG TD

One point to each. It is a TD, and I had it listed as Michelotti, not Vignale, but on further investigation I can confirm that you're right, Michelotti did this for Vignale, not for any other coachbuilder.
