"The Sherwood was a large estate car/pick-up which cleverly used the centre section of a Ford Cortina in its own chassis, on to which 14 separate GRP panels bolted. This didn't make for an easy build-up, but the kit was economically priced and sold in reasonable numbers. A five-door version was also offered.
The Sherwood was followed by the monstrous Starcraft, a six-wheeled motor caravan in kit form, with Cortina or P100 pick-up basis. Again, its low price created acceptable sales."
