AARGH! Finally down to less than 20 unsolved puzzles. The pressure I've put on myself to hold back on new puzzles has been almost unbearable - but here it is, number 260!

That's a Sherwood, a kit car built in the UK from 1984-1992 by Sherwood Universal Vehicles. The centre section is actually a Ford Cortina MkIV

I'll give you the point for that, as I have been able to find absolutely nothing about this car on the Web. My source was another one altogether. The car is a Sherwood, but it does also have a model designation. Which one?

The car is a Sherwood Estate.
I got the exact same picture in the 1990 Auto Katalog

Yes, I've got some more details. They come from a book, so I'll quote:

"The Sherwood was a large estate car/pick-up which cleverly used the centre section of a Ford Cortina in its own chassis, on to which 14 separate GRP panels bolted. This didn't make for an easy build-up, but the kit was economically priced and sold in reasonable numbers. A five-door version was also offered.

The Sherwood was followed by the monstrous Starcraft, a six-wheeled motor caravan in kit form, with Cortina or P100 pick-up basis. Again, its low price created acceptable sales."
