Is that the British version of the Isetta or a Romi-Isetta or an Iso-Borgward-Espana?

It's fair, we're in the expert section....

Probably a Hoffmann Autokabine 250, I'd say.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Indeed. And here you can see the main difference with the BMWs, Isettas, and so on... (I'm not talking of the seemingly dead lady in the foreground)

I have only one question: Am I right saying that this car is no way related to this car: http://nolinks.here.youknow.it

DynaMike

Indeed. The Hoffmann in the Microcarmuseum was a one-off made in Munich, the Autokabine 250 was built about 110 times in Lintorf, near  Düsseldorf.

Thank You!

DynaMike

You're welcome  :) BTW, the Hoffmanns were built in 1954, but the car shown here has got a Dutch license plate from 1959...

Hmm these are news to me!

What do You mean?
I'm going to grill my family to see if anyone in it made these, the name is rather familiar to me.  ;D

A 1954 ad where Hoffmann is looking for dealers able to sell and maintain the announced Kabine:

What a lovely photo. Notice the child in the car - that must have been cosy transport for three!

This engine is probably the only major part of a Hoffmann Autokabine that has survived:
