Here's an unusual car for you.
Make, model, number of cylinders, engine configuration and anything else you think might interest someone!

Some kind of 8C from Maserati?
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

If I say "yes" it will mislead you, but "no" is a bit too strong!
Keep on with your research in that area.

This is the recreation of the C1929 Maserati Tipo V4 "Sedici Cilindri", built  by Anthony Hartley. It has a V16 engine.

Pretty well correct, that's the car and that's how the engine is described.
A voice from the back row would ask if a twin-crankshaft twin-bank engine should be called a V-16 ???

I think both cranks run in the same crankcase and are geared together so it is nearly a V16.

Certainly, and it's not easy to come up with an alternative description.
For the benefit of the others, this is what we're on about

Surely that makes it a U-16?   ;)
