It's one of those "Buy or fibreglass body and fit it on a Ford 10 chassis and you have a sports car" things.

You're right about it being British and Ford-based but it's not a Fairthorpe or Speedwell

This is photo of the Peel Type 1b bodyshell was taken on the bridge at the top of Peel Harbour that leads to Peel Engineering.
