Not a Jowett, as all production Jowetts had horizontally opposed engines (there was a prototype car they built with a conventional engine, but that never went into production and, in any case, was badged "LaRoche" instead of "Jowett").

You're in the right country though.

Actually, on checking the car's specifications I note that you're right about the engine being horizontally opposed - I had forgotten that it was.  I was relying on my memory when I posted my reply, so my apologies for that.

It's not a Jowett though - it's from a maker you wouldn't normally associate with horizontally opposed engines.
