1983 Clancy Mirella

"A private venture between medical practitioner Dr. Mike Clancy and Ford Australia stylist Clive Potter, this high-performance 2-seat compact prototype was powered by a transversely-mounted turbocharged 2.3-liter 6-cylinder engine. With minimal overhang , a foam-filled steel space frame, a box section chassis, FRP panels and scissor doors hinged at the front, the Mirella was a fully-functional concept reaching speeds of over 90 miles per hour."

This was on the net... ;)

Hi Arunas, I did not forget that info I promised but I've got a limited access to the net and I can't remember the url...it is the official site of that car, and there are also 2 other projects, one of them without any pic and the other is a car already shown here as a modified version of a small orange russian car.

This is actually the Mirella TS320, not 'Clancy Mirella', although it was indeed created by Mike Clancy.

It's been fitted with 3 drive trains to date, first an Austin 2.3 litre inline six, then a five speed Lancia transaxle and Mazda turbo rotary and later a fuel-injected 2.0 turbo Lancia.

Hmm.. that means that Mike Clancy built few cars or what?  ;)

It is probably TS230 instead of TS320, to reflect the 2.3 litre Austin six...
