I keep coming back to this. Are you sure he didn't start with a '67 or '68 Plymouth Barracuda? That would have saved him the trouble of making a copy of the Barracuda's front clip.

Despite styling similarities, this Serra body was based on the Barreiros Dart, the (Plymouth-related) Spanish-built Dodge Dart made in Madrid by Barreiros Diesel S.A., along side the Simca 1000 and various trucks.

I think you're right Otto.  Anyone that could make a Citroen Dynae look like a Maserati Mistrale (as Serra did) either had plenty of talent, or nothing better to do than sit in the warm Spanish sunshine, dreaming-up wild ideas!  :)
