OK. Must be French, surely.
Possibly another of those wartime electric jobbos?

Last sunday it has been shown in a program on the German-French channel Arte: Mit Vollgas durch ein Jahrhundert. But they didn't mention the name  :(

"mit Vollgas" is a little exaggerated, isn't it?

Le Carabe, 1938.  I have a picture of it, but I don't know how to paste it here.  Never tried that before and copy and paste doesn't do it.

Text reads "Hippolyte Delimal et son Pou-de-la-Route Le Carabe".  There are four pictures on this advertising piece.

That's it, well done! It would be great if you could attach your pic (use the 'Additional Options' button when you reply). Reputedly this car could stand on its end for parking on those 'fins' at the back...

That's fantastic, thanks Hugo90. Anyone know of any other cars that stand on their end? Reputedly Dennis Adams (Marcos designer) made one in the 1960s but I've never seen a pic

The text in the picture:

The smallest car in the world - yeah, might well be.
The most economical - that might be right, too.
The most original - tough competition, but it is very original.

But the most practical?

Yep, a station wagon isn't really practical, as long as you can't park it vertically...

I guess that was supposed to be 'vertically'? ;D
It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.
