Ok, I was going by a Consumer Guide source, which was accurate in dropping the word Lincoln and heading it up as a Continental, and where I get confused is whether the car, had it been built, was to be known as the 1958 Continental Mark III (which was the name of the car that was actually produced, albeit of different appearance), or was it to be known as the 1958 Continental Mark II (again differing in appearance from the 1956-1957 Mark II, if only a face-lift). In either event, I think we can agree that the car is a proposal for the 1958 Continental - not Lincoln Continental - Mark II or Mark III. I will submit willingly to retract Mark III in favor of Mark II then I leave it to the judges to decide if/when or to whom point(s) should be allocated. Whew!
