As I canīt find any pics, maybe this is some Fiat 1500, built with a Jaray-style bodywork. We know who should know the answer... :D

Hi, I thing Grob got it... there is a pic with 4 cars by Paul Jaray, it is a very famous pic...from the left there is a Tatra 77, then a Fiat Balilla, then a maybach and an Audi. i think this is the Fiat Balilla, also according to the shape of the rear window...unfortunately I'm not able to post that pic, and I can't verify on a book of mine nor on the net, but I think Grob is right...it is a fiat by Jaray, but a Balilla!

Well, there was a 1934 NSU-Fiat Balilla, thatīs been built for FIAT/Wagener by Carosserie Buhne in Berlin. It is the one, Paul shows us in the pic before. But it has a totally different front end as you can see in the pic at the bottom of my post.
I think the one we are looking for is another Jaray-inspired, but maybe italian body. The overall style with the integrated front beams looks more advanced. So I think it may have been built a little bit later (ca. 1936-39), but thatīs still speculation...

While info is sketchy, I don't believe this is a Jaray design.

As I said: Jaray-inspired.

Your pic is heavily pixelled - so weīll have a search through at trillions of thumbnails in the whole internet...

Or ask ;D

So, I think it is a completely italian car.

Itīs size shoes me it could be based upon a 1100, 1500 or Balilla. Right, so far?

The overall styling is ca.1936-1939 in my eyes.  Right, so far?

Do you know if this ever took part in an automobile race like the Mille Miglia?

Yes, completely Italian. Definite Mille Miglia connection, too. Not sure on the year of build, or the displacement of the engine.

The bodies seem to have been built by Viotti, so another webpage calles it the:

(Fiat) Siata 1100 Viotti, MilleMiglia 1938

There were some different cars from Siata following the same aerodynamical concept. Hereīs another one:
