Looks like Ford and Ghia from the sixties, but never seen it before.  Maybe with a Mercury name on it.

Ford, yes. And others have seen a hint of the fleet-footed messenger's brand in its lines, but it's not from Ford's US sister division.

This is the Ford Allegro II convertible. 1964 (more likely) or 1967 according to the sources.
