Sorry for intruding into somebody else's puzzle, but you should get your spelling right, boy, before yelling at the puzzle's poster ;)

Sorry it took so long to reply to your rapid response to this oh-so-difficult promoted rookie puzzle, but, you see, my air supply was cut off...

Thanks for your support, boy!

Just correcting: As far as I can tell (and if I'm telling correctly, quite a few sites have got it wrong) it's the Anster, not Antser. That was what my spelling post was about. Not anything else - as far as I am concerned, your English is excellent, Allemano!

Also in one of my book it is named Antser. It's maybe a pun — it phonetically sounds like "Answer".  ???

Maybe next time a short PM would be the better choice.  ;)

Whatever. I've got a book that has proven itself to be of excellent quality when it comes to American showcars, and in that one it's called Anster. Plus, Mercury unveiled the Vanster in 1985. But we'll probably never know what's right.

"Never" is a long time.  Here are a couple of additional images of the car.  The rear view images clearly say "Antser", even if the font is strange.

It was apparently a gas-electric hybrid.  One electric motor for each wheel, and a gas-powered range extender.

(Can we have the name of the car in the title now?)     :)
