A photo taken at our local New Year's Day gathering:
Make, and year of this engine if you can!

Engines are not my cup of tea. But speaking of tea - is it English?

The pedantic answer to that is no!
It's British!

Not very often! ;D
D'you mean Coventry Climax, in which case geography will tell you it's not.

Correct me if I'm wrong (I said that engines are not really my thing) but that's an eight-cylinder engine, right? Eight spark plugs, anyway. I have yet to come up with a Scottish car manufacturer that have produced an eight-cylinder engine, so my question is this: Is it Scottish?

Separate cylinders and T-head were rare by 1914, so no - it's earlier.
You could try each year in turn, but where's the fun in that?

Hi, I won't take credit for that 'cause D-type spot the car...I found this car (license plate # G1239) and it's called Argyll Tourer from 1905.
