A few trys, at random, documented or not, based on these juicy little clues:
2: An Alfa?
7: You may mean Crosley Hotshot, I've seen some with 2 pieces windshield, but aren't the headlights a little misplaced?
12: Pontiac GTO The Judge?
19: It's not a Muntz, yet.
21: As American as Ford A?

No kiddin'? This one is a 1926 Dagmar (although her dagmars only surfaced a few years later). A drastic change of appearence.

I took a better look: it IS a Crosley Hotshot. Everything fits, the hood opening, the little vent on the side, the door hinges. The only things that have been changed are this 2 pieces windshield, the headlights moved downward and the door that has been recut lower. But it's the owner's problem after all, not mine.

I thought that Capitol was quite American. I am not sure of the Chevrolet line of the twenties, but maybe a 1928 NATIONAL is even more American, a Confederate being only half-american.

Actually, the second guess it not too far wrong. This a sister car of the Tempest, from another GM division. While the rear fender shape would seem to match up with a Tempest taillight, it doesn't match the correct car's light shape at all.
