Humm... a tribute - solved
« on: July 03, 2008, 03:54:20 PM »
Arnie drives a real one but you can choose between any of these Hummer tributes. Question is, what is the make and model name of each of these Hummerdingers?

Correct answers so far:

1: Dongfeng EQ 2050
2: Bajaj Tempo Juggernaut
4: Gibbs Humdinga
5: Action Automotive Storm Warrior
7: Vantagefield Hummer
9: Kombat T-98
11: Toyota Mega Cruiser
12: International SmarTruck III

That leaves 3, 6, 8 and 10 - they're not that hard!

3-Al-Dhabi High Mobility Vehicle (AMV 170m) made by Advanced Modular Vehicles of UAE
6-Pre-production series (or final prototype, if you want) of HUMVEE, made by American general
8-Maybe Urban Gorilla
10-Urovesa Uro VAM

Are this counted in the final palmares?

Cheers.

Good work.

3-Al-Dhabi High Mobility Vehicle (AMV 170m) made by Advanced Modular Vehicles of UAE - CORRECT! ONE POINT TO YOU
6-Pre-production series (or final prototype, if you want) of HUMVEE, made by American general - CAN YOU BE ANY MORE SPECIFIC?
8-Maybe Urban Gorilla - NO, NOT A GORILLA
10-Urovesa Uro VAM - CORRECT! ANOTHER POINT (I actually have it listed as the URO VamTac T6)

Only 6 and 8 remain unsolved

(6 was correctly identified by Staulan as a pre-production HUMVEE - but can you be more specific?)

A quick correction, 9 is a Kombat T-98 Sedan, the T-98 is the 'station wagon' bodied variant.
