Is this the Ballamy Bugatti T37?
I'm speechless...
Indeed it is the Bugatti T37 Special by Leslie Ballamy.

May I ask how you managed to get this one? I found the car in a small garage in the back streets locally and have not been able to find anything more whatsoever.

Well done!

Pretty good, that.
I know of the work of Leslie Ballamy whose dedication to swing-axle front suspension defied reason, but didn't know he'd done that to a Bugatti.
I wonder if it worked? His Ford Anglias seemed to, but then they had the usual Ford unlocated transverse-spring, transverse drag-link arrangement which anything would have improved.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Can't say I know much more about this, only that it's the Monacian Embassary's in Melbourne...

I found it by what I call 'educated googling', my first thought was that it looked like a Bugatti with different front suspension and the only 'front suspension' names that came to me were Bowden and Ballamy.
I didn't know it existed before yesterday either.

There are some recent pics of it on this site - http://www.historicracing.com.au/thumbnails/hw08/index.html - but not a great deal of info.
