Solved: 1895 Wolseley JJ #3
« on: August 28, 2008, 04:20:24 AM »
We're back in the 19th century with this one.  Can anyone identify it?  A bonus point if you can also identify the passenger!

Solved the question as to the identity of the vehicle at any rate.  It's the first Wolseley car of 1895, with the designer, Herbert Austin, at the tiller.  As to the other half of the question, the passenger is Harry Austin, Herbert's youngest brother, who worked with him, first for Wolseley (after Austin's return to England) and later at the Austin company.
