Another group puzzle.

Below are pictures of 30 commercial vehicles, the thing they all have in common is that the manufacturer responsible has also at some point in it's history produced cars.

Some are very easy, others (I hope) are not so easy.

One point for each make correctly identified, I just need the makers name for the point and not the model name, if you know that too please feel free to add it (although I confess that I don't know all of them).

Good luck.

#4 Bianchi Miles, then? ( http://flickr.com/photos/13142169@N03/2679014941/ )
#8 De Dion-Bouton

I had #4 as an Autobianchi, but as I'm not an expert on Italian military vehicles your guess and link to the pic (which is the same vehicle) wins you the point.

And yes, #8 is a De Dion Bouton

DynaMike

#16
The name Autobianchi was used for the Fiat 500 based Bianchina models and later . These were built in the old Bianchi factory, after Fiat and Pirelli gave a financial injection...

I'd say this #4 is just Bianchi, Miles might be the model name. I only tried it since you said I didn't get the right answer yet.

#17 O.M. ??

max

17 - Unipower Forester

You are probably right DynaMike, however the site where I got the pic states that it is an Autobianchi (surely there is no incorrect information on the internet!) but what makes me think that it could be an Autobianchi and not a Bianchi is the badge on the grille.

Which looks quite similar to the early Autobianchi logo...

DynaMike

That logo is indeed of Autobianchi, A + B + rounded triangle (= Bianchi + Fiat + Pirelli), the logo in the truck is just an A in a triangle  ;)

#24 Rochet-Schneider (455N)

Thank you for that bit of information DynaMike. It all makes sense to me now.

Correct

DynaMike

#28 Foden ? (wild guess...)

max

Can't find one like it, but I'll take a double barreled potshot at no. 12 - Isotta Fraschini
