Bits 'n Pieces SOLVED by many
« on: September 22, 2008, 12:21:24 PM »
I was thinking about what innovative and creative multi-puzzle I could put together.

Then I got lazy, so I grabbed a bunch of bits and pieces from different cars. 30 points up for grabs here!

Good luck and have fun.

One would think I'd made this too easy! I'll chuck up the correct ones.

You know, the Dave Clark Five did song called "Bits and Pieces". It started off like this:

I'm in pieces, bits and pieces... ;)
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Clever - posting it while I am away ;)

I wouldn't have been anywhere near a clean sweep here, but the nice thing is that a lot of the cars that I wouldn't have got straight away have already been guessed now! I'll fill in some blanks, though:

#6 is very similar to a Land Rover Defender. But I suspect it's not that easy...
#17: Mosler TwinStar, the subject of a former puzzle of mine
#19: Bentley BY 8.16 Hunaudières
1974 Fiat X1/9 1500
2005 Alfa GT 1,9 JTD

You know, #2 is incredibly similar to this:

...except for some obvious distortion below the door.

2005 Alfa GT 1,9 JTD

#6 is indeed not a Land Rover Defender.

The rest are all correct.

You know, #2 is incredibly similar to this:

...except for some obvious distortion below the door.
Is this a guess or an observation?
