Hi, is that the (or better Le) Dauphine made as a pedal-driven tandem 2-seater cyclecar, with provision for a 100 or 175cc Zurcher 2-stroke engine, later supplied with a small electric motor?

You're just one letter close to the answer Paul. If you study your french grammar you'll see what I mean.
Also, can you give us an an idea of about when this car was produced?

As usual...
Thank you for the details. I had hesitated to use this one at first, believing it was only a war-time pedal-driven car, then I saw it could be offered with an engine.

Indeed!  :D

1941-1942 Andre L. Dauphin, Paris.

This was one of several cars built in response to the acute shortage of petrol in wartime France. The first example was a pedal-driven tandem 2-seater with provision for a 100 or 175cc 2-stroke Zurcher engine for those lucky enough to obtain a special allocation of fuel. Later it was supplied with a small electric motor. In the original model the driver sat at the front, but in the electric car steering was from the rear, as in the Bedelia or Automobilette made 30 years earlier. Bodies were made by Kellner who, in happier times, had clothed such cars as Delage and Hispano Suiza.
