No, I won't agree ;D, sorry again. That is, if you speak french, you say "berline" for "sedan" (I don't know what the word is in german). In french you're right, a berline has ALWAYS four doors. I don't know about the italian "berlinas" or the whatever in Germany, or the British "saloons". But  the word "Sedan" we are using is the American word, and sedans can have two or foor doors. As a matter of fact, I've checked the production numbers for Ford and Chevrolet, for instance, and they usually were as many two-door sedans than four-door sedans sold yearly.

I quit! I give up! Even my father owned a Two-Door-Sedan Opel Ascona back then.  :-[
In Germany we basically say "Limousine". (not to mistaken with those long wheelbase cars) If you talk about a Limousine (in Germany!) you usually mean a car with four doors. Ignoring that there a technically many two-door-limousines on the streets!  ;)

But still: would you call Quiller's Allemano Fiat a Sedan? ::)

to be continued...

In Holland we would call a two-door sedan a coach...
