You are on the right track. AFAIK, this is a regular production model...presumably the one Bohman & Schwartz based the Phaeton on.

This 1940 Buick Century is part of the Hemmings collection–we don’t think it’s been outside in five or six years. At the Old First Church in Bennington, we pushed it around instead of starting it, and at 4,050 pounds, that’s quite a project! You might not believe it, but this is an unrestored car, in great shape. Stop in and see it next time you’re here.
