Do you have any information that links the two (GTM and Midas)? I have not come across anything that suggests that they have anything in common.

Anyway, we can conclude that the car is a Midas Gold Mk 3 Convertible.

Well, that really puzzles me... I know that's the meaning of this website, but go to the official Midas website <<< link removed >>>and check out the car pictured there. I am hard pressed to find any differences, and that is a Midas Gold Convertible:
