I know it as the 50HP ZÜST

Wikipedia:

Quote
The Italian Zust was a novel opponent at 40 horsepower, 4 cylinders, and 4 speeds.  It had only a 114” wheelbase, but could achieve a top speed of 60 mph.

So it may have been a Züst 40 HP or 40 CV  ???

Some sourcres talk about the

Briax-Zust

Sure. I was just reading an essay about the 100th birthday remembering tour of the 1907 Paris Peking race and messed things up, of course... :-\
