I'm guessing Swiss (either as coach builder or manufacturer).  And while I can find info on Swiss cars, I'm having a lousy time finding pics.  One of the last Swiss manufacturers to last into the 30s was Martini and the last model was the NF (which ended 1934, putting it in about the period I would guess for this car).  So that's my "wild car" draw.

Well, thanks to Tuckeroo (and the CH for Switzerland on the rear bumper), I found it. It's a 1938 DeSoto convertible sedan with a body by Tuscher.

Very well done!  Damn me and my hastiness, I had seen a Martini NF sedan that was similar in color but was obviously not that same car - but I remembered the Swiss connection.
