I find this as the Marcos Xylon, of which nine cars were built in 1959 and 1960. It is also what it is called in the webpage that this picture probably is lifted from: http://autoreview.ru/new_site/year2002/n22/marcos/1.htm

Well, that may be how it's called in Russia, but I found it under the name Marcos GT in a few websites, as this one

It seems to have been known as "the ugly duckling", and this describes it well.
... and after further checking, I've found this, which should settle this debate: <<< link removed >>>

I'm not going to argue with you on this, after all you found it first, and I probably wouldn't have realised what it was if I hadn't read your reply first.

But I am quite sure that the official name of this car is the Xylon, as all the websites maintained by Marcos owners and fans describes the car by that name. The sites that refer to it as the GT are not as closely related to the marque or the car itself.

Edit: I see you found that webpage, too. So we can agree that Xylon is the most probable name  ;) - I'll leave it up to Mr. Utz to decide who gets the point, but you deserve at least half of it!

Well, some sources say that, prior to the Marcos Mantis, all Marcos were purely known as GT. This one, the first, is said to have been also called the Xylon, but mostly known as the "Ugly Duckling". And (since you admit that I found the car) I won't argue with you either. Isn't it just a game ?

No more visible puzzle pic.

I happened to see this fascinating and beautifully restored car at Modena Motor Gallery 2020:
