My knowledge of Spanish cars obviously leaves a gap; There were the obvious ones (Hispano-Suiza, Pegaso, SEAT, Biscuter, But a search produced a surprising number of lesser names. And, after a search of an hour or so, I found this one: Orix - 1952. 'Powered by a 610cc flat-twin engine, the Orix looked very like the VW Beetle.' Could not find a picture or any more info, though.
