Man! I thought this one would be easy...I blurred out the words on the side of the vehicles thinking it would give away too much! What are you all going to do when I come up with a hard one?

Hint:
Same artist as before!

Oh, so close!  :P

Remember, the pictures represent lyrics in the song, not necessarily the title.

In that case, "God Only Knows" is the only Beach Boys song that comes to mind.  ;)

The first picture makes me think of "Tach it up! Tach it up! Buddy gonna shut you down."

The second picture makes me think I watched 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea too many times.

The third picture makes me think of Earl Scheib and the $49.95 paint job.

And the fourth picture makes me think of "my 4 speed, dual quad, positraction 409:, which has nothing to do with the others.

Somewhere there's a line about "the Stingray's sliding,,,wheels are starting to spin, but the 413's really diggin' in."

Put those all together and what have you got?

Exactly!    :P

Man, I guess these need to go straight into the Expert puzzles. I was going to save that for the hard ones!

Now, wait just a dang minute, Jethro.  My resonse clearly indicates that I am mixing up two different songs but you say I am within an RCH of getting it right.  How can that be? How do I know which is right and which is wrong?

OK.  OK.. I got it figured out now. The applicable lyrics are bolded:

Tach it up, tach it up
Buddy gonna shut you down

It happened on the strip where the road is wide
Two cool sharps standin side by side
Yeah, my fuel injected stingray and a four-thirteen
Were revvin up our engines and it sounds real mean

Tach it up, tach it up
Buddy gonna shut you down

Declinin numbers at an even rate
At the count of one we both accelerate
My stingray is light the slicks are startin to spin
But the four-thirteens really diggen in

Gotta be cool now power shift here we go

Superstock dodge is winding out in low
But my fuel injected stingrays really startin to go
Im gettin the traction Im ridin the clutch
My pressure plates burnin that machines too much

Pedals to the floor hear the dual quads drink
And now the four-thirteens lead is startin to shrink
Hes powered by ram induction but its understood
I got a fuel injected engine sittin under my hood

Shut it off, shut it off buddy now I shut you down
Shut it off, shut it off buddy now I shut you down
Shut it off, shut it off buddy now I shut you down
Shut it off, shut it off buddy now I shut you down

I just CANNOT figure out the second picture, though. Nothing in the song connects with a nautical reference that I can make out.    :-\

You got it. I had to erase the name "Stingray" off the side of the submersible.

the name "Stingray" off the side of the submersible.

Ah HAH!  All is revealed to them what waits.

Rather a fun exercise. Think I might set my mind to one of my own.

 :applause:

Oh, and to clarify a point, the TASTE of victory IS sweet. Well, sorta sweet and sour, actually. Perhaps we should leave it there...... ::)

I wonder how long we can keep them vehicle related?

There are plenty of them out there, just that some are a little tough to represent in pix.
