I have no idea, but I WOULD like to hear more about your trip to China, what you went there for, what you impressions of the country are and so forth. I always like to know more about anyone who is preparing to eat my lunch.    ;)

First one is the Mitsubishi actually.

Thanks for the link, Ming!  Very interesting story.

Isn't Guangzhou sort of a "test case" for capitalism? Sort of a controlled experiment with special investment and taxation rules to attract foreign investment? If so, the experiment seems to be rather successful!   ;)

"....... the final frontier" says "space" and "aligned GM" says Saturn.

Saturn?

:o)  As in Wu Ling Van (GM Shanghai?)

In fact, I believe I have had the same Wu-Ling pic--the exact one, same bush etc.--on my hard drive for a couple of weeks!

Just looked at "my" Wu Ling.  It is the exacvt same van, only with the front license number scratched out (a la MS Paint) and it also lacks the 2006 date stamp.  Under "properties" it says I downloaded (don't recall where from) on February 9th.  Small world, Ming!

I took the photo in Guangzhou back last summer, and posted it to Wikipedia, as well as gminsidenews.  I took it precisely because Google never could offer me a good one.  Glad you like it! :)

Since this one has been here for a while and my visits are divided by long periods:

1. Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear or Space Wagon (China version)  -- I had some conflicting info on this one, but all instances seem to contain "Space"
2. Wuling van (tricked out with accessories)
3. Buick Excelle HRV
