hmmm, now that I look at it, that looks like Packard green - Roll's engines were all enameled shiny black.

You are correct sir! This is the powerplant in a 1938 Packard 1608 (V-12) Brunn All-Weather Cabriolet, which will be at the Hershey auction in October. Quite a car.
