While I can TELL its an historic racecar. It says so right on the windshield. What I can NOT figure out is why it has a bright red cuphoulder in the left front corner!   ???

Its RHD, so probably English and although it looks like nothing I have seen before, it is probably either a Lotus Somethingorother or a Ford Cortina product.

Sunbeam Alpine variant I think, like a Harrington Le Mans coupe?

Looks like a photo taken at the Le Mans Classic anyway
