Solved -PJ213 Lazy-boy edition- Schubert Prototyp 1958
« on: September 16, 2009, 08:17:28 AM »
This one looks sooo familiar, but still can't find its name.
Probably is very easy or probably it's an obscure homemade-conversion or a factory prototype.
One poit for the 1st who came up with a correct answer.
No questions, only guesses.

Quite sure I have it in one of my books. The plate seems to be a German one.
Can't look in my books before the WE.  :-\

I saw this car in the flesh at a microcar meeting at Story in Germany about 15 years ago, where it attracted a lot of attention. It was a one-off but I don't think it had a name as such. I'll dig out my pics and see if  I can find any references

Probably one of those no-name-self-built-cars which were around in Germany's streets in the fifties....

I've found a hand-written note that was in the window of this car - it's the 'Schubert' prototype made in 1958 in DDR

That is a great find indeed!
This is definetly a 2-point one.
Is it possible to write down what's written there?
 Prototyp Schubert
Hersteller: Schubert / ???
Hersteller Geland : DDR
